Description

Some of the most exciting enterprising projects are trans-disciplinary; they are the unique cross-over between arts and health; they’re the crazy money spinning idea between business and food; they’re the missing link between performing arts and nursing that everyone has been waiting for. Often, however, we work and live in silos - we never get the opportunity to meet other people from other fields to explore these ideas. This walk will do just that - provide opportunities for different fields to meet each other, share ideas and find the cross-overs in thinking and opportunities. (Picnic Lunch provided)

Biography: In 2015, Anthony Schrag walked 2638 km, from the North of Scotland (Huntly) to Venice, Italy, exploring notions of walking art, and the way walking can be a methodology of participation and engagement. Anthony’s artworks and research explore participation and the place of art in spheres such as business and health. He has been Lecturer of Cultural Management at QMU since January 2017. www.anthonyschrag.com
